FITI: THE FILM PODCAST Episode 11, and a CTV Update

The winter lurgy and other life obstacles put the podcast on a brief hiatus, but it’s back now. On this week’s episode I speak with Jesse Hiltz, a science fiction scholar. We talk Annihilation, Arrival, and the New Weird—his take on where science fiction in books and film is going. You can check it out here in Apple Podcasts, and here on Stitcher.

Last week I was on CTV Morning Live for some pre-Oscar and post-Oscar talk. If you’re interested, you can check out the clips here and here. I’ll miss the effervescent morning energy of Heidi Petracek, now moved on to the reporter pool at CTV, but Kelly Linehan knows a thing or two about movies, too, and I expect she and I will have a lot of interesting conversations in the future.  I’m looking forward to them.
