ICYMI, I was on the radio again late last week to review two movies now in cinemas.
The first is the blockbuster a lot of people have been anticipating: Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, the epic sequel to his 2021 feature that adapted the first half of the Frank Herbert novel. I talked with CBC host Portia Clark about how the second film completes the story and does it well, though I still had a few niggling concerns.
As an alternative for a trip to the cinema, I also reviewed Drive Away Dolls.
