Happy 2018! Here’s a new film PODCAST!

I figure the best way to embrace a new year is to have more conversations about film. This blog started that way, back in 2010, with guest writers contributing to the content. While the blog has become almost exclusively about film reviews, and all from one voice, I know a lot of passionate, committed film lovers and filmmakers, and I hope to invite a few of them to talk about their interest on FLAW IN THE IRIS: THE FILM PODCAST.

The first three episodes are up now: Please find them on Stitcher and on iTunes where I welcome you to subscribe and review. It’s also hosted on SoundCloud, if that’s your preferred jam.

As with the blog, I have a broad interest in different kinds of films, and so do my guests: the first three eps cover superhero movies, the best feature films of 2017, festival gems, and even the impact of the Weinstein Effect on how we choose what to watch. I’m going to try to have new material up weekly, with as many different guests with divergent viewpoints and backgrounds as I can find who’ll agree to speak with me. We’ll see where it takes us.

And don’t forget, I’ll be continuing to record episodes of the podcast I co-host with Stephen Cooke. LENS ME YOUR EARS. It’s also available on iTunes and Stitcher.

Thanks for continuing to read these rambles, and thanks to those who tune into FLAW IN THE IRIS: THE FILM PODCAST.
