Because I’m always talking about the movies, I have two regular podcasts to tell you about wherein I talk about the movies with other people.
One is the podcast that accompanies this very blog, FLAW IN THE IRIS: THE FILM PODCAST. On the current two episodes I chat with Halifax screenwriter Josh MacDonald (The Corridor) about his passion for Stephen King, on the page and in film.
He goes into some detail on Cujo, Creepshow, It, Stand By Me, The Mist, The Shining, and even Maximum Overdrive.
The usual 25-minute running time overflowed into a much longer, double-barrelled 90-minute chat, hence the two-parter. I hope you enjoy it. You can find it here and here.
And over at LENS ME YOUR EARS, Stephen Cooke and I have been talking about scary movies (in light of Hereditary) and Pixar’s animated delights (in light of Incredibles 2). You can find those episodes here and here.
