The Knox Office: June counterprogramming

Yes, I read the news, too: Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts won the weekend box office, taking the prize from Spider-Man: Across The Spider VerseI wondered on social media who still cares about this toy robot franchise. Apparently, quite a few people wanted to see Transformers 7.

On Friday I reopened The Knox Office on CBC Information Morning to offer a few alternatives to this particular blockbuster squatting in cinemas. Portia Clark and I talked about The Wrath Of Becky, Daliland, Showing Up — which played this weekend at Carbon Arc Cinema — and The Artifice Girl.
