In a year that has been largely unprecedented, leave it to Braden Lam to lay out the horrifying truth about our environment in a catchy, folky earworm. His latest single paints a bleak, terrifying, and sadly not untrue picture of where things stand at present. Just flip the news on, and you’ll be hard pressed to find some part of the planet not currently marred by Floods, Fires, or Famine, and Gen-Y certainly has cause to be disillusioned as they have to wade through a mess not of their own doing. We can take some small solace in the fact that while we watch it all burn, the soundtrack will be infectious.
