It’s been a little bit since we’ve been out at a proper show, but it was great when we were invited to take some shots at the Halifax Jazz Festival down at the Halifax Grand Parade stage. It’s a pretty great space, with fantastic sightlines throughout the area, with the added bonus that folks could bring their own lawn chairs and relax while enjoying the great tunes.
Both Alan Syliboy and the Thundermakers as well as Campbell & Johnston’s Black Market Band were initially booked for Thursday evening, but due to the weather were shifted to a beautifully breezy Sunday late-afternoon time slot. It was fantastic to get out and see both acts take the stage, and perform for the appreciative crowds in attendance.
Hopefully, we’ll start to see live music ramp up again, as it has been far too long.
