I’m not normally one to extol the virtues of Bruno Mars, but slowly but surely he’s been winning me over with each single and I think he’s finally turned that corner and earned my attention with his insanely catchy track “Locked Out of Heaven”. This is the first “pop” song in a long time that has found its hooks lodged firmly in my ears, it’s a track that is working to break Bruno out of the pop mold, and into the realm of an actual artist. If this track is any indication of what we can expect from his impending album Unorthodox Jukebox then consider my interest piqued.
