Swollen Members have emerged from obscurity with their latest album Armed to the Teeth. Consider that the band has been away from the scene for over three years, one might expect the band to have evolved during that time. Unfortunately, this is verymuchlikethe lackluster 2006 effort Black Magic as it fails to bring anything new to the table. The band has stagnated during their hiatus while the entire hip-hop scene has grown. Armed to the Teeth is the snapshot of a band who is struggling to regain relevance in a scene that has forgotten them for the most part.
