Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Swinging from the Chains of Love

The Blackie and the Rodeo Kings story started as nothing more than as a tribute to Willie P Burnett in 1996. As fans of Burnett’s, Tom Wilson (Junkhouse), Colin Linden and Stephen Fearing drew the name for their union from Willie’s 1978 album Blackie andthe Rodeo King. In the years that followed, this Canadian supergroup has released five studio recordings, culminating with Swinging from the Chains of Love a greatest hits package.
