Night 2 of the 2023 Edition of the Halifax Jazz Festival featured the return of Shaggy to a Halifax stage, and while he packed them in with his massive hits such as “Mr. Boombastic”, “Angel” and “It Wasn’t Me”, the star of the night was his opener Jah’Mila. It was a night to showcase the talented songwriter’s Jamaican Roots, and bring a bit of the island to Halifax, which she has been doing since she made the Nova Scotia capital her home. The sun was blazing, and the reggae music blasting, which made for a memorable night on the Halifax Waterfront.
