Due to the fact that I’ve been slacking on my 30 Day challenge, I thought I’d post two days today.

A song not many people would expect me to enjoy has to be plucked fromarather scant list, as a critic I chew through a vast amount of music and myfriendsIassume I like everything but that’s not necessarily true. But my personal choice is a song that dates back to my elementary school days, “Fight the Power” was a song by the socially aware group Public Enemy. Back then I liked the song as it was entertaining but as I grew older I respected the song for its lyrical content and social message.Many may not know that I grew up listening to rap/hip hop as well as other genres but I spent a great deal of time listening to Fear of a Black Planet and It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back.So there you have it, a song many may not know I love.
