Now Accepting Applications for the 7th Annual Local Wishlist!

Submissions for our annual Wishlist are now open! The Local Wishlist is a curated holiday gift guide filled with gifts made in Nova Scotia or available at independently owned businesses in the province. If you make a product in Nova Scotia, it’s free to apply.

Close to 45,000 people used The Local Wishlist in 2017 to discover great gift ideas.

The Local Wishlist is an online initiative that started in 2012 with the intention of making it easier for Nova Scotians to discover and purchase gifts made in Nova Scotia or sold at independently owned local businesses. It’s a holiday-focused campaign, and runs from November 12th through to the end of December each year.

Applying takes just minutes. If you need ideas to help you with your submission, see our 2017 Wishlist for ideas.

Application Deadline: November 5, 2018

Over the next month we’ll review and select items to appear on the 2018 Local Wishlist. Not all applications will be selected for inclusion. We anticipate notifying successful applicants by November 10th.

We’re looking for a large variety of gift ideas from across the province. If you know of a product or business you’d love to see on the 2018 Local Wishlist, please let them know about the project by sending them this link or sharing it through your social media channels.
