Sea Glass Bowl:
These sea glass bowls contain recycled glass found off the islands of the south shore of Nova Scotia. Artist Alexandra McCurdy and her  grand daughters collect the glass in the summer, and in the fall she makes the bowls, decorate them, and finally glaze them, applying the glass for that final firing. Three of the bowls were purchased for the permanent collection of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia this fall.
