This summer, we ate a lot of lobster.
Lobster Chowder…
Lobster stuffed with shrimp then baked with cheese…
Hot Lobster Sandwich…
A lobster boil…
The list goes on and on. But our best lobster dish of the whole summer was found at La Cuisine Robicheau in Saulnierville, NS. Beautiful, rich, delicious creamed lobster…
The restaurant opened in November 2012 following the passing of Chez Christophe, a local chef known around the world for his acadian cuisine. Nadine Robicheau worked with Chez Christophe for many years, and wanted to keep his memory alive, and continue his tradition of blending fresh, local seafood and traditional acadian dishes with warm hospitality and live music.
The restaurant is in a house, and feels like it. There are traditional dining tables, chairs, and china cabinets to boot. They hold Musique de la Baie kitchen parties every Thursday, the fiddles and foot stomping kind. Check out the video below for more on this truly authentic, unique, and delicious Nova Scotian dining experience.
