Nova Scotia Beaches – Cleveland Beach

Summer is coming! What better way to get ready than with a series of posts on one of the best summer adventures, THE BEACH!  Read on for information on Cleveland Beach in Hubbards, or click on the links below to find more amazing Nova Scotia Beaches.

Cleveland Beach and provincial park is a nice stretch of beach in Hubbards, Nova Scotia. It is the sister beach to Queensland, one of the most popular (or at least most frequented) beach in the province.

Cleveland Beach Washrooms Nova Scotia

It is on Nova Scotia’s South Shore, just a 40 minute drive from Halifax. There is ample parking and a small picnic area. There is no running water on-site but there are two outhouses/change houses.

Freshwater Lake Saltwater Ocean Nova Scotia

This is an unsupervised beach.  Like a few beaches in the province the area is rocky over the winter months but come summer the ocean replaces those pebbles with soft sand. There is also a freshwater lake on-site.

Dogs are permitted but they must be on leash. Click on the video below for a short virtual tour of this beach:
