Nova Scotia Beaches: North Bay Beach, Ingonish

North Bay Beach Cape Breton Nova Scotia

Summer is coming! What better way to get ready than with a series of posts on one of the best summer adventures, THE BEACH!  Read on to hear about North Bay Beach in Ingonish, Cape Breton, or click on the links below to find more amazing Nova Scotia Beaches.

This beach is best for those who like a quieter beach day.  It is a beautiful beach with access to the ocean, but no freshwater access.  What you give up in amenities you gain back in space.  It is a large stretch of beach that also plays home to many bird species and dune vegetation.

This beach is unsupervised, but there are washrooms and change rooms nearby, as well as a small picnic area.  There are also some nice trails in the area if you are up for a short hike.
