Drain the can of chickpeas, saving 3 tbsp of juice from the can.

Pour chickpeas and the saved juice into your blender (or food processor)

Add garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and salt into the blender

Blend for 1 minute, stopping the machine and stirring with a spoon if you notice for some reason that it's not blending anything anymore. It's really thick, so sometimes it will clump a bit on the sides.

Assess the hummus. If it has lumps in it, give it a stir with a spoon, and continue to blend, stopping every 20 seconds or so to stir again until completely smooth.

Serve with vegetables, chips, pita bread, on a sandwich or a burger... it's up to you!
