strips of nightshade free bacon

Preheat oven to 450°.

Cut bacon strips in half.

Wrap each individual date with a half strip of bacon, and secure with a toothpick.

Cover baking shit with tin foil for easy clean up.

Place the appetizers on a baking sheet with sides to keep the bacon grease in.

Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Flip them over, and continue baking for another 8 minutes.

Eat them while they're hot! (Not too hot though - ouch!)
