It’s Friday! Wow, I can’t believe this is the 6th week of Lunch of the Week. It has gone by so quickly! I absolutely have been loving this project, it’s forcing me to get out of my comfort zone, rather than make the exact same lunch over and over and over again. There have been the tried and true elements throughout (carrots & hummus, lookin’ at you), but overall it’s been nice to experiment! I know I get stuck in food ruts, so this has been a really awesome way to expand my lunch vocabulary, as it were. Allergies make lunches SO tricky! Hopefully you’ve been finding these helpful! Any suggestions are always welcome.
Here’s this week’s lunch!
Carrots with Sabra brand Classic hummus
– Sara Lee Honey Ham slices (nightshade free!)
– Cabot white cheddar cheese
– sliced cucumber
– Helmann’s original mayonnaise
– broccoli sprouts
Chocolate Banana Shake
– 1/2 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
– Silk unsweetened vanilla almond milk
– 1/2 banana
Frozen blueberries and the other half of the banana sliced over 0% Fage Greek Yogurt, sprinkled with Carrington Farms Flax Chia Blend.
