October 17 marked the 8th Anniversary of the passing of Gord Downie, and what better way to honour the spirit of the legendary frontman of The Tragically Hip than to convene with like-minded fans and revel in those beloved tunes. That is exactly what happened last month, when The Fabulously Rich returned to the region and landed on the Marquee Ballroom stage (2037 Gottingen). It was a night loaded with Hip classics and some lesser-known deep cuts, but as always, Dennis Ellsworth embodies the spirit of Gord, and you simply need to close your eyes and you’d swear Gord was in the room. As always, it was a Fabulous night.
