For the first time in over 5 years, German-Canadian singer-songwriter Alice Merton found herself on a Canadian stage. Her late afternoon mainstage performance was one of only two Canadian shows that the “No Roots” hit-writer performed in 2025. It was a solid set that had folks moving, especially when she broke into the aforementioned hit and the massive alt-pop gem “Vertigo”. It was a rousing set that rallied the crowd ahead of the final trio of acts to grace the Sommo mainstage.
