Show Shots // K-OS w/ Andre Pettipas @ The Shore Club // 10.07.25

At the top of the month, when Shore Club season was kicking into gear, Andre Pettipas made a triumphant return to the fabled room. He didn’t come alone, as he was supporting the talented emcee K-OS. It was well worth the trek out of the city on a Thursday night to see Andre and K-OS, but leading up to the show, the talented duo of Pineo & Loeb were added to the bill. This electronic DJ/Duo brought a bombastic, bass-laden set that had the room shaking ahead of Andre and K-OS’s performances.

Andre “All Gas, No Brakes” Pettipas then took to the stage and ran through a loose and playful set that saw him hitting the dance floor to showcase his dance moves, while incorporating a couple of covers (including the memorable “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan), alongside some of his best-known tunes such as “Definition of a Dweeb” and “Richelieu”.

Once Andre wrapped up his set, it was time for the renowned emcee K-OS, who hit the stage in shades, a cowboy hat locked in place by a dashing bandana, and a stylish trenchcoat and vest combination. For his performance, K-OS reached into his extensive catalogue and played a large swath of his hit songs, such as “Man I Used to Be”, “Emcee Murdah”, “Sunday Morning”, and “Crabbuckit”.  It was another of those special Shore Club nights with magic in the air. There is no other place like it to see K-OS, Andre Pettipas, and Pineo & Loeb; it certainly stoked the K-OS fandom of this writer that started back in the early oughts.
