Back in early April, The  Fabulously Rich emerged from their winter hibernation and returned to Halifax with their biggest show to date. The band’s popularity continues to grow, necessitating the move to the Light House Arts Centre, a move that provided a much larger stage area for front-man Dennis Ellsworth to prowl. You knew it was a great show by the amount of mic cable that Dennis was holding by the end of the night.

For fans of The Tragically Hip, being able to see the material live on through Dennis, TJ, Trevor, Greg and Craig, it’s an absolute treat. As someone who has been to their fair share of Tragically Hip shows (13!), I’m losing count of the number of times I’ve seen The Fabulously Rich, and I have two more dates etched on the calendar for later this year. Highly recommend checking these fellas out,  as it’s as close to the real thing that you will get. Until the next one guys!
