There are events throughout the year that showcase the immense talent in this city and the Maritimes as a whole. One of those is the Big Shiny Tunes weekend, a two-night event that gathers together some of the best musicians to create two stellar house bands, fronted by a wildly talented lineup of lead singers. If you have never been, it’s a night of nostalgia, sing-alongs and boundless positivity. This year’s Big Shiny Tunes was absolutely stellar and jam-packed with incredible song choices, and some surprising pairings of song and singer.  You can bet that Vol. 5 is already pencilled in on the 2026 calendar.
