While the main attraction to Sommo Festival for this photographer and his 14yo daughter was certainly Noah Kahan and the other musicians, we had celebrity chefs circled on our festival schedules. Michael Smith was everything I could have hoped for, but it meant little to my daughter. She was extremely excited to see the multi-hyphenate Mary Berg take to the culinary stage.

Michael Smith may have sprung an entire food competition on the crowd and scheduling committee, but he didn’t come with a vintage steel potato ricer, as Mary Berg was making Potato Gnocchi with a Lobster Cream sauce.  She was as charming in person on the Sommo Stage as on her daytime talk show The Good Stuff.  Catching up with my daughter after the presentation, she was gushing about how great the show was and that members of the Beaches arrived as the special guests.
