Back in early July, PEI’s The Fabulously Rich returned to The Shore Club on a damp Friday night. It was a marked improvement over the band’s 2023 visit, which happened to coincide with a historic rain storm that washed out roads and made the band’s trek across the province far more of an adventure than it should have been.  Fortunately, their 2024 visit was far less eventful.

The Hubbards lobster-hall-turned-concert-venue was jam-packed with a loyal legion of Fabulously Rich (and Tragically Hip) fans who wanted nothing more than to spend a summer evening revelling in those magnificent tunes.  As always The Fab Rich worked through a catalogue that focused on Day for Night but spanned the entirety of the Hip’s discography. It is always a blast to get out to take in one of these shows, and you can bet that if my schedule allows, I’ll be in attendance for the next one.
