Late in the afternoon on Day 1 of the Sophomore edition of Sommo Festival, Montreal’s Half Moon Run took to the main stage.  With the sun hanging low behind the stage, Devon, Conner and Dylan worked through their atmospheric rock tunes, that shimmered like a multi-faceted diamond.   This trio may not be a household name yet, but many should be familiar with one of the band’s bigger tracks “Call Me In the Afternoon, ” which is easy on the ears with a complex percussive backbone.   The band were perfectly slotted for a relaxed late afternoon set.
