Now that the dust has settled, and we have finally carved time out to sift through our ECMA 2018 photos, we are happy to share some of the shots we grabbed in advance of the big awards show at the Scotiabank Centre.

While we photogs jostled for position to snag our shots, you could clearly see for the uninitiated that it was a disorienting experience: people didn’t know where to look, or how to stand. Once the two-hour lead-up got rolling, we found a rhythm as a group, and tried to get the folks on the carpet laughing and to put them at some degree of ease. While there are some typical red carpet shots in our gallery, we tried to cull the ones which are a bit left of centre, and where some of the acts let their personality shine through. For the most part, people were great and had a great time hamming it up for us, while others were true to form.
