We have arrived at the 18th annual Evolve Festival which takes place over four days at forested wonderland on July 13-16, 2017. From its humble beginnings in 2000 as an intimate grassroots gathering, to one of the most distinguished Festivals in Canada now in it’s second year at the brand new site outside Moncton, New Brunswick.
Evolve presents a stunning array of sound from worldbeat, hiphop, and electronica, to folk and roots. Evolve offers music fans everything from their annual favourites to mind-blowing new discoveries. Evolve continues to develop as the premiere outdoor camping destination music festival in Eastern Canada and will feature some of the most exciting acts representing a huge range of musical styles from Canada and around the world, while staying true to its mandate of supporting Eastern Canadian artists.
As a persistent advocate for the safety of festival patrons and performers, Evolve Festival is doubling the amount of paramedics on site this year, increasing the amount of free water points, and constructing fencing on the grounds equipped with new signage and infographics designed to provide helpful information. Since moving to their new location 30 mins north of Moncton over $500,000 has been invested into the Evolve Festival site including upgrades to the camping section, on-site showers, security and additional lighting.
“With our biggest lineup to date, we are preparing to welcome more people than ever this year,” says Jonas Colter, Evolve Festival’s Executive Director. “We have been working diligently with professionals to both improve the grounds, which we consider to be the very best New Brunswick has to offer, and our internal processes to ensure a safe and seamless experience for our attendees. Evolve truly is evolving!
Weekend passes are $230 in advance, $40 for extra early admission on Thursday starting at 2pm. Also new to the festival this year are daily tickets. As opposed to full weekend passes, patrons have the option to purchase day passes for the Friday ($95), Saturday ($95), or Sunday ($60) of the festival. These passes, which also include a night of camping and parking, are available to purchase HERE.
