The Vacation Is Over

With a longer than expected period of time off from the site (roughly two months….but who’s counting), and with the Halifax Pop Explosion right around the corner, I felt that it was a good time to dive back into the musical world and pump out some words.  With the recent purchase of a home, I’ve been able to lug some of my “things” that were being stored at my folks’ place, back in Cape Breton, up here to my new abode in Halifax. (Big shout out to my folks for hanging onto this stuff for me while I eventually came up with a place to house it here in the city).

With all of that in mind, it seems like a good time to start up a weekly piece which will have to do with my CD collection.  One of the crates I took up to Halifax is filled with CDs that I purchased back in my earlier years.  After a quick glance I will admit that some of those albums are great, some are not so great and some are downright embarrassing, but in some strange way each makes up a little part of the musical me.  I’ve included a little spoiler pic of what I will be digging into over the course of the next little while.
