Cape Fest 2014

By now you’ve more than likely heard the news that the dynamic duo of Aerosmith and Slash (with Myles Kennedy) will be bringing their rock n roll sound to the beautiful island of Cape Breton on Sept. 12th, 2014.  To say that this is big news is a massive understatement.  It’s tough enough to get musicians, of this magnitude, to show their faces in the boom that is Halifax, let alone on the island to the east.

With this booking, promoters on the island prove once again that they aren’t scared to push aside the notion that Cape Breton can only put on shows of the Keltic flavor.  Thanks to an always loaded list of partners and volunteers (armed with the knowledge taken from the very successful Rock The Dock festival) you can bet that this years outdoor concert will run like a well oiled machine.

Early bird tickets go on sale on April 16th and start at $99.75.  General admission tickets will be sold for $119.75 and the gold access passes will max out at $199.75.  Most hotels in the area have already been booked up so its a safe bet that the early bird tickets won’t last long.

You can find more information as it is announced over on the Cape Fest 2014 Facebook page, or follow them on twitter  for all up to date news and announcements.
