Free Shows Coming To Alderney Landing!

There’s a couple of free shows coming to the dark side of Halifax (aka Dartmouth). The first one, on Canada Day, will be featuring…

Tokyo Police Club (Toronto)
The Elwins (Toronto)
Gloryhound (Halifax)
Paper Lions (PEI)

The surprise performer/headliner will be announced soon, my guess it’ll be another artist from the Maritimes. And I’m thinking along the lines of Rich Aucoin who appeared as the special guest last year’s Natal Day.

Update: Now confirmed… Skratch Bastid !

Speaking of Natal Day, this year’s line-up has been confirmed, and like the Canada Day concert, will also be free! Yeah, sweet! The line-up will feature…

Joel Plaskett Emergency (Halifax)
Slowcoaster (Sydney)
The Will Be Gones (Halifax)
Young River (Halifax)
Mo Kenney (Halifax)
Rachel Sermanni (Carrbridge, Scotland)

I’d say get your tickets soon for both of these concerts, but since they are free, I say get there early, there’s some good talent to be heard on both line-ups!
