For as long as I can remember, I’ve never been a fan of The Doors. I’ve sat, with my headphones on, and have tried to dive into different parts of their discography but always come away with nothing. The worst part about it, is that I have no explanation as into why I don’t like their music. It’s not that I hate the music, or the vocals, or the lyrical content. Maybe once you take all of the working parts and put them together they blend into a mash of noise that just absolutely irritates my brain…..like I said, I can’t explain it.

However, I do enjoy the song “LA Woman”. It’s got a great groove and feel, start to finish….it’s an ultimate jam type of song. You can almost picture the boys sitting around, dipping into some peyote, and just jamming this song out for hours.
