Well, I never thought that the song which describes me would be by Huey Lewis and the News, Neil Young maybe, but never Huey Lewis. However when the song fits, you wear it. The song in question? “The Heart of Rock N Roll” which is more of a literal translation, as music has already coursed through my ears since I was a wee pup. Some of my earliest memories involve sifting through my uncle’s record collection, which is where I first learned about Eddy Grant (see The First Song I Bought) and Billy Idol. If it’s not apparent due to the fact that I run a blog about music, then I’m not sure how else to show that “The Heart of Rock n Roll is still beating” with me.
