Thelatestrelease from this Louisville, Kentucky based is an unusually obtuse listen, at times bringing in elements of Radiohead’s <em>Kid A period (“Touch Me I’m Going to Scream Pt.1”), while others the band chooses to evoke a generic 1970’s era AM radio rock band (“Librarian”). For a band trying to escape the southern rock classification, they find themselves very well versed on the other true gem “I’m Amazed”. On Evil Urges My Morning Jacket take you along on their journey of self discovery.
