Now something tells me that Wide Mouth Mason may have missed the boat with this CD/DVD set. The band’s last studio effort was released back in 2005, and their last commercial release back in 2002. Wide Mouth Mason’s brand of blues rock rode the back of talented guitar virtuoso Shaun Verrault and was something new and exciting back in the mid-1990’s, but has lost a great deal of its charm in recent years. While this set is a treat for fans of the band who get a chance to relive the WMM live experience, one must wonder how many fans truly remain.
