At first glance, the idea of having Jack Johnson pen the soundtrack for the big screen misadventures of the world’s most curious monkey might seem a little odd as Johnson’s tunes tend to be more akin to nap time as opposed to the frenetic hi-jinks ofthis little monkey. However, once you stop to think about it, maybe it does make sense to have this surf-aficionado writing the soundtrack since the material is as inoffensive and soothing as it gets.
