AM Taxi, We Don’t Stand a Chance, Virgin, EMI

AM Taxi presents their self-fulfilling debut prophecy of 2010 with their album We Don’t Stand a Chance. Their lead single “Fed Up” showed promise, but when lumped in with the remaining faux-punk rock sludge it all becomes quickly forgettable. While AM Taxi may slay on the Warped Tour stage, their music is not meant for a set of headphones, but instead it would be meant for a crowd primed for that faux-punk sound. As their aptly titled album indicates We Don’t Stand a Chance, AM Taxi won’t have a chance to meet the sophomore jinx, so catch em while you still can.
