The Knox Office: Valentine’s Day Edition

On Friday on CBC Information Morning in Nova Scotia I reopened The Knox Office, my film column, and spoke with guest host Pauline Dakin about movies people may want to watch leading up to Valentine’s Day.

I wanted to offer at least five possibilities for different scenarios — but ended up talking about even more. Not everyone is looking for a heartwarming romcom… though at least one of those is on this list.

Movies mentioned include Heartbeat, Spinster, A Room With A View, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, Always Be My Maybe, and the Magic Mike franchise.

We’ve also got a collection of other reviews of romantic films here on FLAW IN THE IRIS for your Valentine’s Day movie-watching consideration, both recent and older titles. (I definitely don’t recommend all the films here, but feel free to browse!) Click here for that list.
