There’s an interesting, if thin, piece over at Total Film, an interview with Jack Nicholson about his career. It’s actually kind of a missed opportunity. I’d love to read a more in-depth look at Nicholson’s work over the years, why he chose certain projects, what he regrets and what he’s still proud of. But this isn’t a bad start. You can find it here.
My favourite quote from it is this one:
“As I said earlier, no one who is no good has ever become a film star. No matter what they say about ’em. Believe me, on closer inspection you will find they are good at things, or they are not there. There are too many people who want to do it for someone who is no good to succeed at it.”
