Installing a Tower Crane

I always wondered how cranes go in. I got to find out on Friday in the hole of the Nova center.

(Above) The site is prepped by scrape the ground down to bedrock, and blasting away loose material with air, leaving clean bedrock.Then stand the tower up and Level.
B (Above) you can see the forms going on to contain the concrete base.
(Above and Below)B The first tower segment is standing on large anchor bolts. Rebar is installed inside the forms.

Once the forms are in the box is filled with rebar, and then Pumped full of Concrete (Below)

More Concrete..

(below) Pour Complete. Remove The forms, and Add Crane Sections.
