Go North Wine Tours

Go North Wine Tours has been specializing in wine tours since 2009. In 2014, they launched their first wine and beer tour. They offer daily departures from Halifax and Wolfville from May to November. Itineraries include wine tastings, “behind-the-scenes” vineyard tours, and gourmet cuisine.

Go North Tours specializes in small group excursions. They aim to work closely with the wineries to give guests the best experience. They are an Associate Member of the Winery Association of Nova Scotia.

Sample Wine Tour:
Go North’s most popular full-day tour is Between The Vines. This tour includes a “grape to bottle” tour at Blomidon Estate Winery, lunch at Le Caveau (named one of the world’s top 20 winery restaurants), a tour of Fox Hill Cheese House, and a stop at Tangled Garden.

New Wine and Beer Tour:
Exciting news for wine and beer lovers! Starting the 2014 May long weekend, Go North Tours will offer wine and beer tours each Tuesday and Saturday. The tour includes a tasting at Meander River Farm, tour and tasting at Avondale Sky Winery, lunch (and a Beer/Wine) at The Spitfire Arms, a private tasting at Sainte-Famille Wines, and a tasting at School House Brewery.  Tours are currently advertised for $115 and are slated to depart from any downtown hotel.
