Annapolis Highland Vineyards is located in Bear River East. They have four hectares of property where staff tend close to 10,000 grape vines. Those estate grapes go into their award winning wines. Try them yourself at the on-site tasting bar. Wines include Pinot Gris, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, New York Muscat and Castel.
Once you`ve found a favorite, purchase a bottle from the gift shop. They also carry a large selection of specialty tea, coffee, wine jellie, honey and local artwork. Check out Annapolis Highland Vineyards specialty, Highland Blue and Highland Blue Dolce. These unique dessert wines are a blend wild Nova Scotia blueberries with Cabernet Franc.
