Breaking News!! According to the New Glasgow News, UPS will now be delivering Pictou County Pizza across Canada. For fellow PC Pizza lovers like us, this might just be the story of the year.
Pictou County Pizza (the best pizza in the world) stands apart from its competitors with its thick layers of spicy brothers pepperoni, ‘brown sauce’ and thick, gooey crust. According to the article, delivery takes anywhere from one to two days. It is cooked in store and then frozen before shipping.
UPS is already being bombarded with orders from across the country. Cost varies depending on location, but the article gave a sample order of 6 pizzas delivered to Fort Mac at a shipping cost of $80 (looks like that price does not include pizza – looking into it).
After publishing our article on why Pictou County Pizza is the best pizza in the world last year, we heard from people as far as Greece who had shipped PCP, so the news is nothing new, but it is cool to see that UPS and the PCP shops are now working together to get the word out and get PCP into more mouths across the country.
Now for the important part, how to order:
1. Call UPS and get a quote on shipping.
2. Call the PCP shop of your choice and place your order.
3. Have a friend or family member pick up your pizzas and freeze them.
4. Once frozen, have said friend take the pizzas to UPS
