Hello Halifax Bloggers!

Hello everyone!

I’m so excited to be here on Halifax Bloggers!

To my old readers, welcome to your portal to all things East Coast. You’ve heard me talk about how much I love Nova Scotia, so you know how much this place means to me. You’ll love the other blogs here, definitely click around and see what’s what!

To my new readers, I’m excited to meet you! I Say Nomato is a food blog where everything is made without Nightshades: tomatoes, potatoes, peppers and eggplant. If that spikes your interest at all, head on over here to check it out and read more about our journey to such a weird diagnosis! Having such strange food allergies means that almost everything I make is from scratch. I also make a conscious effort to use local, in season produce. I Say Nomato has a lot of traditionally Nova Scotian food, as well as a smattering of other specialties. You’ll be sure to find something you love here, from Italian family recipes to cakes (my love!) to just plain old kitchen staples that you have to make from scratch when you can’t eat anything (and luckily taste WAY better).

I generally post on Thursdays, and sometimes Mondays if there’s something special on the go. You can sign up to be notified when there’s a new post up using the sidebar (and you get a free Meal Planning eBook too!).

I can’t wait to share my recipes with you! See you on Thursday 🙂
