In addition to the Christmas/Holiday season, it also marks the season of countdowns and best of lists. It’s a time for those voracious media-consumption types (like the 3 HAFILAXers) to sit and reflect on the shows, albums, movies and/or books that were consumed over the past year. For this trio of HAFILAX Music Geeks, 2014 saw us covering more shows than ever before; we had the opportunity to interview a few different acts, we covered a handful of shows around the Maritimes, and we shared our photography with you, our readers. As we’ve attempted to bolster and expand your playlists over the course of the year with our music recommendations, we now present to you, the HAFILAX breakdown of the best of 2014 (unofficially kicked off this week with the 1st part of Justin’s 2014 countdown). Over the next week or two you will see Best Of lists from Jeff, Justin’s 2nd part of his 2014 best of, and my list will also be going up shortly.
