Sass Jordan beware, Ms. Etheridge is back with her first new studio release in three years. Lucky is hardly a re-invention of the wheel, as Etheridge is an artist who has built a career on playing it safe. When it comes to her career, she refuses to color outside the lines. Her brand of ultra-polished adult contemporary rock has changed very little, and unfortunately she has lost the relevance she may have possessed in the 1990’s.
