This week’s edition springboards off Love & Mercy, the Brian Wilson biopic I enjoyed very much. My co-host, Stephen Cooke, had to twist my arm a little to get me on board this topic, however, because I’m generally not a huge fan of the genre—most days I’d rather watch a documentary on a musician than a dramatization of their lives. That said, in revisiting a few of these older movies, I found a few I liked more than I expected.
