Mood Indigo trailer

I don’t often post trailers on FITI, but this one just seemed so delightful I couldn’t resist. In French it’s known as L’Ecume des Jours, but in English it will be Mood Indigo, because naming a movie after a song, even a very old one, is preferable to a French word no one can say. It stars the queen of delight, Audrey Tautou, and is directed by Michel Gondry. I’ve always enjoyed Gondry’s visual whimsy, even when the trailers for his films are more startling and zippy than the films themselves—as in The Science of SleepIt also makes me wonder what his Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind collaborator, Charlie Kaufman, is up to these days. Not much from him since Synecdoche, New York.
